Big congrats :D enjoy this time, it looks like you have had a massive year to get to this point x
Dad diagnosed Sept 14 Stage IV. Age 57yrs. Transverse colon - spread to Retroperitoneal, Mesenteric & Supraclavicular lymph nodes. Folfiri commenced Sept 14.
April 15 - Bowel resection
August 15, stable scan
Feb 16 - No signs of cancer on scan...stop chemo & scan in 3 month
Scan April 16, Crazy growth to stomach, lymph nodes & multiple mets to liver. Commencing Folfox.
August: chemo not working. Stopped treatment.
September 3rd 2016 peacefully left this earth.

That's great to hear!

Hey, the chances of CRC going to the brain is less than 1% in a Stage IV person, if I remember correctly. There's a blood/ brain barrier that tends to protect that part of our body from this wicked disease. I attribute head pains to stress or TMJ. Hope you get good news on that, too.
Stage III cc surgery 1/7/09. 12 tx FOLFOX
Stage IV PET = 1.5cm liver met. HR 4/11/12

11 years since dx and 7 3/4 years post liver resection.
Pronounced CURED and discharged by onc

I'm so happy to hear this news==and so soon after Rob's, too. It's heartening for all of us to see multiple posts of good news, especially following sad news. Even those who are grieving the loss of their loved ones, or shaking in their boots after being diagnosed--all want to know that there is hope, that this horrible disease can be beaten back.
