Congratulations on the good news!
I think most of us can relate to how stressful the waiting can be.
But if we take things one moment at a time we can almost always find something to feel good about.
May all you future test results be stress free :)

I cannot thank you all enough for the advice and support. I caught a glimpse of the fear that comes with a stage IV diagnosis. It reminded me to live each day to the fullest. You all have my deep thanks and admiration.

My 86 year old mother has histoplasmosis which always alarms the docs and for which she is clueless about the source. They are thinking pigeons in some previous house in which she grew up? Who knows, but she is still quite healthy for her age. Lois

Lydia666,

The assumption at this point is that the lung nodules are also histoplasmosis. Seems to make sense from what I've read. I'll be on pins and needles for the re-scan in 3 months, but I feel good about the process and the information we have.
