CEA Test

Postby DixieBelle » Thu Jul 30, 2015 5:57 pm

Appointment with new oncologist was on Tuesday (7/28), I really do like her, she is kind and patient, answered all my questions about BRAF mutation, some before I even asked.
Did lab work, all results were posted except for CEA, very apprehensive!
Hopefully I will know something tomorrow, really don't want to go through weekend wondering!

All my bloods are done and reported at the local lab, which I can access online.
ONLY CEA and PSA need to be reported from the cancer agency directly ????? Image

Sometimes we just gotta deal with the system

I called doctor's office Friday afternoon, CEA was in, but nurse had to get doctor to give me results. I got a note that the test came back 'normal' at 1.7. I am so relieved.
