I no longer have my colostomy but this was the beat thing I ever did I think I bout mine at coloplast or somewhere but it really helped to not have to go all day I can't stand that I prefer getting it done and moving on having a reversal makes you go back to an all day event

I have been irrigating for 4 months now. It has been a game changer. Check out the UOAA website. They have an irrigation board with all the information you will need. There are also instruction videos on YouTube. It is also a good idea to see your wocn if you have one for instruction. I use convatec supplies but I don't think it really matters which one. Good luck.

Been doing irrigation for 4 1/2 yrs. If you are active it is the best thing you can do for yourself to return to a "normal" existence. As others have suggested visit the UOAA website and go to the irrigation discussion group.

Staci irrigates every night...takes her about half an hour or so. She uses Hollister cones and sleeves, so let me know if you want/need item numbers and I can get them for you. She gets them from Edgepark as part of her normal supply order.
