Chemokine-Modulatory Regimen for Recurrent Resectable Colorectal Cancer?

Postby jaycey60 » Sun Jul 05, 2015 9:10 am

Is anybody else in this trial (NCT01545141)? If L ends up in the treatment arm it's 5 days of interferon + Celebrex + antigen, as an immune stimulant, followed by resection of her rectal tumor and removal of all lymph nodes (malignant or not) in the peri-rectal region, pelvis and abdomen. Non-treatment arm is just the surgery. We find out tomorrow which arm.

Bit freaked out. Can't seem to find any info online about side-effects of Chemokine regimen. And I'd love to hear from any of you who've had a similar surgery - so much stuff removed.

Gulp. Here we go.

Thanks for all your kind words.
