Still new at this CRC business...
So I had/have this massive tumor on the corner of Rectum & Colon that was almost blocking things entirely...they put me on 10 days of Radiation prior to starting chemo, to try to shrink the tumor to prevent a full obstruction. Since I started radiation (it's done now, last day of it was Tuesday), I've been pooping out these...translucent, peach-ish, slightly bloody...things...at first I thought it was just globs of mucus, but I realized a couple days ago that they seem to be bits of tissue. (Not toilet tissue, but like living tissue.)
Am I actually pooping out the tumor as it shrinks? The doctor didn't say anything about this...
Also sometimes I'll just be sitting/lying there and my bowels will cramp up something fierce, I'll have to run to the bathroom but nothing will come out except one of the globs. Honestly, what it reminds me most of is when I had an early miscarriage a few years ago, though not as bloody and with different muscles involved.
I would love it if some of you could tell me this is normal, or at least normal-ish!
