I speak with doctor today ,he told me biopsy will be ready Tuesday or Wednesday. He said tumor is 4 cm,and it a mess over there, he said he send a paperwork for MRI and something else to insurance company's, so I assuming he know it is cancer
I am so afraid

Tanya.....IF you do have cancer there is no reason 'why'. Why not you or me or anyone of us on this board?
There is no rhyme or reason to 'why' anyone of us got cancer. It happened...PERIOD. Cancer doesn't discriminate....it's an equal opportunity disease. Doesn't matter whether you are young/old, male/female, healthy/sick, Black/White/or some other race and it certainly doesn't discriminate against the rich/poor. You'll drive yourself nuts trying to figure out WHY (if you have cancer) you got the diagnosis because there is no rhyme or reason to it. It just is. There is nothing you can do about what the pathology report will reveal. It is what it is and worrying about it isn't going to change what the report says.

Here's a little piece of information. Again, jumping ahead here but IF you have cancer, you will have to believe and accept the fact that you have the disease if you want to fight it. Right now though, try to relax until you get the verdict back from your doctor. To answer your question about what to do....right now, just spend the next few days, enjoying life with your kids and try (easier said than done) to put the 'what if' on the back burner until you truly know what you are dealing with.

I have to reply on the "why me". Some of my mom's friends have asked how I feel and that very question. My answer is "why not me"? I am no different or special and would not wish this on ANYONE! Why us? Why not? As said, no one is immune. Try not to think in those terms.

Tanya, i understand, you are under the shock, i am too. We are young and don't think about serious illnesses at our age. I just talked to someone who had two cancers, one of which was at rectum and it's been 18 years. There is hope! We have to believe we will be well, but we need to go through the emotions too, because it is enormous what is happening.

So sorry to read your post. Yes you are too young. But unfortunately today, many people under the age of 50 are being diagnosed with colon cancer. Guess that number is expected to rise in the decades ahead.

I agree you are in shock right now. It's normal, but know things will get better for you. Once they do the staging and a plan of action, you will feel some control of your life again.

Until then, know that we are here for you,
