I woke up during my last major surgery, long enough to realize I was still in the OR and to hear the anesthesiologist say "She's got a high tolerance guys." I was feeling a little worried about what he meant until he rounded on me a few days later and he said that he had started cycling down the meds and I woke up much faster than he thought I would and was telling the PA to sew faster. I also woke up for awhile during my colonoscopy and apparently really fought the nurse, my arm was so sore the next few days. I now warn them not to be too light on the meds. 8)
