Need some help

Postby trbiggins » Fri Jun 19, 2015 7:06 pm

For all you knowledgeable folks, I need some help. I've looked online, but can't find anything.

I've got post embolization syndrome. It is very common after TACE. I have an intense pain in my right side under my ribcage, especially when I breathe deeply. It started yesterday. Maybe someone here has had it and may know some possible relief. It really sucks. Any help appreciated. Oxycodene doesn't seem to help, although I've only taken a 5mg tab once yesterday and once today. I don't want to waste them if they are ineffective. :)

This says it should start to go away after 72 hours: http://radiopaedia.org/articles/post-em ... syndrome-1 .

Are they sure that's what's going on? My hubs was having pain on the right side under the rib cage, especially when breathing deeply. It is a pulmonary embolism! Did they do any scans or anything to verify?
