My husband was a fan of spicy food before chemo. He didn't have any trouble with Xeloda, but about halfway through FOLFOX, the inside of his mouth became super sensitive to anything spicy, fizzy or minty. Tears would come to his eyes. I think he used less toothpaste during that time, but we didn't switch. He finished chemo on April 10, and it is slowly getting better...

09/27/2018 started hospice
02/07/19 died
