Hello all. I haven't written in a while, but I'm so mad I have to vent. So, I am currently NED and am done with all treatment, but I just had my reversal on 3/19. It didn't take me long to start reading posts about how everyone else handled the everyday torture of going to the bathroom. After reviewing different bidets, I decided on the Biffy. I thought it was a reasonable price and seemed to have good reviews. Well, I ordered it on 5/7, received it on 5/14 and my husband installed it that night. I gave it a couple of trial runs that evening and was pretty happy, I could see better mornings in my future. Obviously, I'm not a psychic because that very next morning when I went to the bathroom... there was my biffy... the sprayer arm laying in the toilet. Ok, so that's not good. I called the company when they opened and was told to package it up and mail it back to them for a refund, which I did for another $15. I then received an email from the company saying that they got my return and to call them. When I called them this morning, I was told that they inspected my biffy and that I must have done something to it because it was not a manufacturer defect. I told him that we didn't do anything wrong and he asked if we had a plastic toilet seat because that will cause the arm to break off. I told him that our seat is wood and that it worked fine that night and sometime overnight it broke off... sounds defective to me. Anyway, he said he would have to talk to the GM and have him call me this afternoon. I called them back this evening and spoke to the super rude GM who basically said the same thing - not their fault, must be mine. He just kept repeating that plastic doesn't spontaneously combust and we did something wrong. I asked what we possibly could have done to have the arm fall off in a matter of hours... I can't even begin to explain how frustrated I am that they won't refund me my money. When my husband got on the phone and insisted that they refund our money, the GM hung up on him. Nice, huh? So I got on some sites where they sell their products and gave them my reviews and I contacted BBB, hoping that would make me feel better... nope, still mad. I cut coupons to save 50 cents, so you better believe that I am livid at flushing $119 plush their stupid $15 postage.
Ok, thanks to whoever reads this. I know in the big picture, this is nothing. We have had to deal with all kinds of horrible things, but for some reason, I am really MAD. Rant over.
