Thank you everyone for your kind words.
It is more difficult than I had ever anticipated. At 7 weeks I got worse and the dogs got better.
I feel like I am coming out of anesthesia and it hurts! June 28th wold have been Pete's 55th birthday. I couldn't stop thinking how young that is. It really brought me down.
Today I am much better. I am starting to see a psychologist now and I am hoping that he can help me get through this.
I think of everyone all the time.
Peace to you all, Celeste

So sorry. That is good that you are seeking help, just having someone to talk that will not judge or that you do not have to face day to day sometimes can be very helpful. My husband is very close in age and I consider that pretty young. One day at a time! You are in my thoughts.
DD to 81 year old father
dx 24/07/14 iv cc mets liver/lung
