In 2010, CRguy wrote:... The "toughest" people I know (I am a 2nd degree Black Belt and know at least a few !) are the most humble and gentle folks on the outside...

It's good to see that you have reached this important ColonTalk milestone. It must be hard being a Moderator, especially one that has to maintain the "In Memoriam" list.

I appreciate the fact that you can be both tough and gentle at the same time. Take care of yourself now and on the Journey ... we need people like you around here.

What's this about a 10 year survivor, I'm going on 6 bro, and that Social Security will kick in my homie. I wasn't so sure 6 years ago, and blessed be this forum, to help me get through the situation I was dealt.

Just enough piss & vinegar w/a tsp of sugar for good measure = CRguy STILL PAYING IT FORWARD after TEN years. I know so many of us appreciate/admire your dedication, accessibility, generosity & investment of your time through your contributions, support & maintenance of this website & its members.

In the last several months, I have had reason to visit other cancer forums & I can say unequivocally there is no match for this one in user friendliness, features (thanks Sergei), i.e. sticky threads, signatures, bookmarks, search functions, basic layout in ease of visibility page to page, you name it. Let's not forget our comic relief, off topic threads as therapeutic to the membership as a whole to those who choose to join in! Makes me realize just how spoiled we are here on this site. One can still come to the cancer forum & join in topics other than cancer if needed. We've got it covered on all fronts here on The Colon Club! :D

Thank YOU CRguy.

Most Sincerely,
BS aka Ethel

Thanks homie
ya' knows I luvs ya' :D

My take on US here is :

IT IS ALL OF US.... HERE, collectively which make this forum great, as I have said many times.
The Mod/Admin side just keep this place running and give US a place to keep it great.
We have great webhosts, a great Board of Directors and many "activist" members who take it to the streets
par excellance

AND .... there is also another Mod who keeps things moving forward with great positivity and dedication :
Jaynee = weisssoccermom
She has been here longer than I have and spends a whole lotta time keeping us going

CHEERS to Jaynee and many thanks.
We both miss Eric ( the third Mod ) BUTT Jaynee has never missed a beat in spending hours on forum to do more than her fair share.
She also pays it WAY forward and is a trooper in the CClubber ranks !!!!!

So yes, BS
THIS forum really does have it covered.

WORD

Love Peace and Harmony

Ohhhh, that was nice. Having a REALLY bad day today...and that was just something nice and positive+++

THANK YOU CrGuy....much appreciated and very touching.

Yep, this forum has a very special place in my heart. Coming up on 12 years since diagnosis....over 10 on this forum.. Mods have come and gone and yes, like CrGuy, I miss Eric. I like these days lately when the drama is non-existent and the biggest worry seem to be those pesky spammers! Hugs to you all

What, am I supposed to know Jaynee, the one who greeted me seven years ago, and told me to call her at home, if I needed more advice ???? I will never forget that moment, and it is placed well into my heart. I had only made 2 posts !
Cheers to both of you !
