Ok so just a preliminary teaser
All regular bloods and markers are good as of today

Doing follow up on an isolated incident SVT ( tachyardia issue )
planned CRC monitoring imaging (xrays and U/sound ) to be done before Christmas
CT later in 2019 along with my 3 year c-scope

Had a GREAT 45 minute appt with my GP this morning

Did I ever tell y'all ......... I LUVS ME MY GP !!!!!!!!!
Well I luvs me my GP

We set up another 2 year prospective follow up regimen with all the usual tests and a few new ones.
All is SOFA' SOGOOD in CR land

The SVT thing does not bother me ... BUTT my doc NEEDS to know it is no concern, not just my non-concern
so she recommended a cardiologist consult just to be sure !

Did I ever tell y'all ......... I LUVS ME MY GP !!!!!!!!!

Will update asap when I have more info BUTT the top 2 referreral Docs she referred me to are
Managing Director and Clinical Director of our local Regional Trauma Go To Emerg Hosp who run their own clinical trials
and have patents on wireless implantable pacemakers and A-fib treatments !!!!

I don't need one of those BUTT damn straight I am happy to be getting their level of care
( a friend of mine is getting radio-ablation for A-fib thru the same guys and apparently they are THE guys to go to around here )

WORD !

Cheers y'all
more later

Well as promised ... details to follow ... are following !

Here I go again = great song and a fave from Manny Cabo on the Voice a while back
BUTT also ..... Here I go again

My homemade CRC follow up plan and newly minted cardio plan seem to be as follows :
Cardio : change statins, regular bloods, good stress test results, booked echo
but cardio honcho is not concerned about imminent issues and just wants to cover the bases and manage risk factors.
I am good with that

CRC imaging : abdominal U/sound all normal ( including liver )
survey xrays of abdomen and pelvis all no change with just a bit of arthritis

Chest xrays NOT CT just an xray :
" 5 mm nodular density, lower left lung field superimposed upon anterior 5th rib
which may represent summation artifact versus a true pulmonary nodule. In light of patient's history,
further assessment with CT of chest is suggested. "

SO .... Here I go again

as charter member and co-founder of the Lung Thang Gang here, I know the drill.
ALWAYS keep looking and if you find something GET ON IT ... NOW !

Scheduling CT as we speak
living life " scan to scan "

my resolve is STRONG

it's never weak
survival is my PLAN

depending on what we get when we get it ... I shall update this UPDATE !

Cheers and Harmony

What?? No CRguy!!. Please no. That can't be happening to you. I hope and i mean i pray, and i am sure thats just a scarring, volume or something non relevant and not an actual nodule.
You are one of the few long term survivors i got to know when I first entered this forum. You are a survivor model for me and your survivorship is a huge inspiration and encouragement for me and I am sure for many others.
Your story along with few other really long term survivors' stories are what is giving me hope that cancer is not necessarily a death sentence, as I used to think.

I am really praying that this lung thing is nothing serious and I can't wait to hear the good news soon.

Good Bless you.

Hopefully, a closer examination via CT scan will show it to be just a "summation artifact" due to the angle of the x-ray and not a true nodule.

YES!!!!!! Survival is the plan!

I always tell people that I am fearless because I've been afraid. Afraid means rally the troops, get the immune system fired up, get my mind/body connection in perfect harmony. You are a bad-ass Zen cat balancing on the jagged edge of the world. I've got your back, always!

As a kid I remember watching the TV show with David Carradine, I think it was called Kung Fu, then a few years later watching The Karate Kid.
It is so encouraging to see the teachings of mental strength, determination, and resolve play out in real life in this thread.
Thanks CRguy for the gentle lesson.
