Kennyt

Sucks about the low wbc. I had this problem with folfox! It took me over 6 months just to get through 10tx. I had to do the nuelsta then I went to nuepogen which easier to tolerate. Enjoy the break !

Ok I have never heard of bolus - what is that??

My WBC went down every infusion - had neulasta shot after the 6th treatment...
Hoping my supplements will keep me from other boosters - I upped my mushrooms so hopefully that will help!

It is likely the irrinotecan. I had to get a neulasta shot after about 11 cycles of Folfiri. That said after a year long break I had another 11 cycles and my WBC held fine so the process is variable. Get the neulasta shot and move on.

As close as I can describe, as I am not medically trained, a bolus is just a large injection, requiring no infusion unit.
