Bev,

I read all the time but hardly post. Your thread just brought me to my knees and I felt compelled to login and write. This just really sucks. I can't, no I refuse, to believe it. Please know that someone way south of you in NJ is thinking of you and praying that this is truly nothing.

Sending you virtual hugs,
Amy

Bev -

I'm so very sorry. Hopefully it will turn out to be something that is manageable. It seems we can never be really free of the cancer worry.

Good luck with PET scan,

Well, Bev--you know the routine. Don't panic until you have to.

This sucks on so many levels. When I think about beating this disease, you're always the first one to come to mind. Right before Fletch and Juliej.

Not a whole lot of us left from the "Class of '09." Most of us who didn't get cured, got killed.

Seriously, wishing you all the best and that this is all about nothing. Could be that Vermont water, you know.

I haven't been on this website for quite awhile and for some reason today I thought I should take a look. So very sorry to see this post. Will be saying my prayers for you as you move forward in your workup. Cancer is never a good thing, but I remember a thoracic surgeon years ago telling me that a new primary would be better news for the patient than metastatic disease as if you can catch primary cancer early it can be very cureable. Will be praying for positive news for you!

Bev, I saw your post on Facebook too. This is just wrong. I'm surprised whatever it is has grown so quickly and hope that means it is just inflammation. My oncologist also stated what Christy said, that if it is an early detected primary, that is better than having mets. I was supposed to have my PET yesterday to check my nodules, but long story, it didn't happen. So, I am also in the waiting game. I hope you can try not to worry too much until you know what you're dealing with and that your tests are soon. I know you'll keep everyone posted. So many people care about you.

You would think that after all these years, I'd have learned not to check posts at work. I am so angry that you have to go through all the stress and anxiety again, especially when you were supposed to get your all clear. Well, you know the drill. We're here for you with love, hugs, prayers and good mojo. XOXO
