Post-radiation Pneumonitis/Bronchoscopy

Postby juliekei » Thu Apr 02, 2015 8:05 pm

I had SBRT on my left lung back in August and I am grateful that it successfully killed the nodule. Now I am suffering from a relentless cough that has caused me to fracture my rib. I've tried Prednisone but it hasn't been as effective as my oncologist would like. He is sending me for a bronchoscopy/biopsy tomorrow and I'm a little freaked out. Has anyone had this procedure? I'd love to hear any advice, insight, etc.

Thanks friends.
