It's good to have a plan and it sounds like you have a good one. Surgeons do hate to remove lymph nodes don't they? I have been studying the issue and I am not sure if the science supports the idea that doing so presents a major risk of spreading the cancer. But the jury is still out.

Best wishes.

I was there on the 16th for the consult. I'll be back on April 16 in advance of my April 17 RFA procedure. I always like meeting CC people.

Just enough time before retiring to get all the residual cancer problems cleaned up. It will work.

That's what I'm hoping for, Greg. But if not, I think I can still swing quarterly trips to NYC.

Great attitude BB. Sounds like a good plan. My DH is very positive just like you. He's going to have vats lobectomy on Monday.

I thought you already lived in the country? Probably because of your beautiful garden :D

Moving from a village adjacent to a city to a tree farm a mile from a village of 400 souls, 45 miles from a city of comparable size..

Sucks about the change, but you have a great approach, my friend. Since coming here three years ago you have been like a beacon of hope and have an amazing approach and attitude. You've helped me as I navigate through my life. My recent discussion with dr Lin was about Rfa. I may push to have this done as well. I had some nodes around my lung. They no longer show on my scans. Chemo and other things killed them as well as some lung spots. Keep us posted. Xo

Hi Eric,
Sorry to read of this set-back but I have a lot of confidence in you and your ability to keep on keeping-on. The plan sounds sound! Retiring in the country? More country than the rural place you already live? Sounds like wilderness!
