Hey Frenchie, I'm sorry to hear of all your recent B.S. Maybe it's time to try the Rick Simpson oil since you're unable to smoke? See what benefits if any this provides.

Keep the wind at your back buddy.

Cindie,
Thanks for your input. I am fairly certain that I have been tested for that. I will bring
it up with the doc today.

I have never heard of cancer causing this either. I just don't know what else it could be.
It may be totally unrelated but I won't know for sure until I stop the Dex.

I am so fed up with tests and scans and x rays etc., I just don't want to do anymore. If only things could stop happening for awhile and let me catch up. So many things have gone wrong lately.

On the other hand, maybe the doctors have finally gotten it right and I am slowly dieing.
I don't think any one thing will kill me, but I am human and my body can only take so
much. I am riddled with cancer. It has spread to so many places since I stopped chemo.
Why I have so little cancer pain is another mystery they can't answer.

Here is something I wanted to share.
My oncologist told me that couples splitting
up after a cancer diagnosis is not that uncommon. Surprisingly, it is the patient and
not the caregiver that wants out the majority
of the time in her experience. She's been at
this for 30 years so she must know what she's
talking about.

Who says Frenchie has no luck ??
There is one bright spot in all of this. My luck has changed at the casino.
Lately, I have come out a big winner every single time I've gone to play.

I had stopped playing for awhile but boredom got the best of me. It was the
same way when I was first diagnosed. I spent a lot of time there and my sock
drawer (don't go looking there) had more cash than socks.

I screwed up yesterday. I went to the casino and forgot all about getting tested
in the afternoon. It was important too.
My memory is so short lately that I have started to write everything important down.
Problem is, I forget to look at my notes ! I have the memory of a goldfish now, 9 seconds.

Seriously Frenchie?!! I mean REALLY?!! You must be feeling better then! Had an old family friend that used to bring his sock full of coin to our card games...literally. It was quite the conversation piece & the kids used to get such a kick out of it. Actually we all did. That thing must have weighed 5 lbs. Then he had special rules. Every time you got a certain card or hand (don't remember exactly) you had to touch your nose. Lotta laughs...good fun for the kids & all. Have you considered the danger you are putting yourself in should your face grimace again? All those women could think you are winking @ them.

And that's no...

Memory like Dory from the movie Finding Nemo! I have days I feel like that, I call it life after 40! Glad to hear Mrs F is willing to help you get out to the mountains. I agree with everyone, you will likely feel a lot better after you get that sugar sorted out. It is amazing how something like that can effect so many different things.

Now that dogs have been shown to be able to sniff out cancer, is this the end of the cat
scan ? Actually, cats can detect cancer too, but they prefer to watch you die screaming.

Some charity put a bag in my mailbox with the words "Treating children with Cancer"
If that's a treat, it really makes you wonder what they do to punish kids !!

Scientists have discovered that cell phones cause cancer in mice. How did they get those
little buggers to make phone calls ??

One thing about going bald while on chemo, you don't have to worry about dandruff.
Think of all the money you'll save on shampoo. You never have to worry about bad
hair days.I have found that it is only socially acceptable to insult bald people if
they have eyebrows.

They say that every 2 minute someone in the states is diagnosed with cancer. Where
the hell are these people finding doctors at 5 in the morning ??

It occurred to me lately that all this crap happening to me was affecting my sense of
humour. Cancer can rob me of a lot of things but this will not be one of them !!

Good Morning Frenchie and Everyone,
Frenchie, I'm Love your Jokes and am Glad you seem a bit better, what do you play at the casinos, my game is Blackjack, 5 Card Stud, you should play if you don't already, instead of a poker face, your Cancer Face when it contorts will really confuse the other players your sure to win most Hands
Sorry I haven't been around for a few Days, it was my Birthday 2 Days ago and my Friend came over with her 2 Boys to play with my Girls, I have completely redone the Garden for my Girls it's better than some parks.
I built everything apart from the 8 foot trampoline, they have a double swing, 2 Storey Playhouse with double slides one small and one 8 foot long, a big sand pit and I am in the middle of making a big lookout/playhouse on top of the swings.
Then on Monday another friend took us out shopping for my birthday and then we went to eat and after that we went bowling.
I am much more organised and getting on with things, and the girls are happy.
Oh Frenchie by the way I got your second Post Card Thanks a lot.
Well I hope you Stay Lucky at the Casino and in Life Frenchie but buy a small note book that will fit in your pocket and make sure to check it for any important appointment etc
Stay Strong, all my Love and Kisses

I got depressed thinking of all of all my recent mishaps so I called the Suicide Lifeline.
I got a call centre in Pakistan. When I told them I was suicidal, they got all excited
and asked if I could drive a truck !

I decided to tell people that I'm dying of Aids. I don't want anyone sleeping with
Mrs Frenchie when I'm gone.

Speaking about sex, I remember the first time I had sex, I kept the receipt.
Unexpected sex is the best thing to wake up to, unless your in prison.
I can live without sex, but not without my glasses.

I was thinking about how people seem to read the Bible a whole lot more as they get older.
It dawned on me that they are cramming for their final exam !
When you talk to God, your praying. When God talks to you, your a schizophrenic !

I personally think that we developed language because of our deep inner need to complain.

I like to play blackjack. I'm not addicted to gambling. I'm addicted to sitting in
A simi circle.

On a more serious note, I read some alarming statistics recently. Cancer cases are
predicated to rise by 40 % in the next 15 years here in Canada. Colon cancer cases
are expected to rise by 79 % during this time !

Frenchie you are a true jokester! You had me worried with your first couple of sentences and then I broke out laughing. I had to read all of your jokes to my husband. He said you were really on a roll with all of them, and he loved them, too. Laughter is so good for the soul! Sure hope you are feeling better and getting some answers about your face and hand contortions. Looking forward to your next post! You are in my prayers!! --Cindie

Peanut, you have been so quiet lately, I miss you.
I have been gaining weight since going on Dex. I quit trying to hold my stomach in,
no matter who walks in the room. I found that the best way to look thin is to
hang out with fat people.

My memory is so bad,I changed my password to ' incorrect '. Whenever I forget my
password , the computer says " your password is incorrect." If I had 9 fingers missing,
I couldn't type any slower.

I come from a real tough neighbourhood. I put my hand in wet cement when they
poured the new sidewalk and felt another hand !!

I hate it when you give someone a sincere complement about their mustache
and suddenly she is not your friend anymore.

Makeup sex is great. The only thing better than that is if you go to prison and
have conjugal visits !

I can't stay out of the casino. I just keep on winning these days. I am giving a
new meaning to cold hard cash. I don't bank my gambling money, I recycle it.
I have little plastic containers with all my recent winnings stashed in the freezer
of my motorhome. I'm running out of room ! Maybe I won't have to rob gas stations
after all this summer !
