I got to thinking the other day.
You know, there is some re-assurance in knowing that ALL OF YOU MORTALS DON'T WANT TO DIE !!

That means that I get first pick at EVERYTHING !!
I get to choose the flashiest black Hearst out there ! I can pick any one of them I want !!
The freshest flowers, the perfect grave spot near the entrance, maybe a bench or two. etc.
I can see all kind of advantages of being the first !


It's the silver lining thing again !

I feel confident in knowing that none of you are getting out alive ahead of me !!

I keep betting against the house and winning Every time !!
If This had been a card game and I kept betting against the house like I have done all along here,
I would be a multimillionaire by now!!
To be honest, I am generally lucky at gambling and have hauled home a few good pots. I have also left my whole months gambling allowance on the table in one sitting so I will not brag anymore.

Once a gambler, always a gambler I guess.

So far, nobody has stepped forward with a better plan than mine so I have decided to stick to what makes Frenchie tick !!

Just another tid bit about my biggest and only vice. (According to me)

I never thought I would live this long. I love to gamble within my means and I like to have fun doing it.
Awhile back, my wife had to put her foot down on how much I can afford to lose in a month.
Since being diagnosed, my "Give a Damn" has been busted and I have become careless about money matters.
We still have to live within our means like everyone else.

I usually hold my own but every now and again I get cocky and drop a big chunk of change. Since I never expected to live this long, I was doing this too often and it put a strain on my budget.
If I lost too much, I would mope around the house, daring to complain that I was sick or something was wrong.
Much easier to go off to the Casino and have a bit of fun.
Since she did that, we are both happier. I love that girl !!

I had a misadventure today at the mall.
I just got back from the hospital.

These unexpected things can always go either ways.
I have been overactive lately and it caught up to me today.
While walking in the mall, I suddenly felt faint and plunked to the floor.
I could hear people interrupting my nap, saying things like;
--- Maybe we should do something bla bla bla.
---I'm not touching those lips bla bla bla
---- He's probably dead anyway !!
---- I wonder what's in his pockets ??
THAT FUCKER MOVED ??!!
I heard that part quite well.
Stuff like that.

Finally, someone else came along and whisked me to the hospital !
A little hydration and a rest is all that was needed this time. Got you again,Grim Reaper !!

Don't know if you were a Ren and Stimpy fan, Frencie, butt your latest invention reminds me of the episode when Stimpy decided to be an inventor and forced Ren to wear the cheese-o-phone. I don't remember the specifics, but it made talking to limburger a piece of cake.

So I want to be the first customer of your new Interplanetary phone. I have always wanted to talk to the folks on betelgeuse.

It may need some tweaking a bit, and a bit of know how, but I could probably come up with a pretty fair prototype if it wasn't for this dying thing happening.

I'm thinking of something like those rolling carpets at airports that go on for miles.
Those old folks have to take all kinds of things with them when they travel anywhere !!
They wil love the slow pace. Finally, nothing to worry about !

I wasn't going to share this with you guys until after the holidays.
There is enough doom and gloom on here already.

A little while ago, I complained about still being around waiting for something to happen.
Well, IT HAPPENED !!

I am losing blood internally now, and will need regular blood transfusions from now on.
A bit more stuff along those lines, you get the idea.

It's gonna take a lot of stubbornness on my part to last until the fall.

It's that darn gambling thing again !!
I want to see just how far I can take things until one of us blinks !
This one is for ALL THE MARBLES !!

This could go south in a hurry or linger on and on, just like my wife 's trusty alarm clock.....TIC.TOC, TIC, TOC..
I shudder every time there is a holiday. She sets her clock for noon. I don't dare open my eyes till then !!

Sometimes, I've skirted the law in my quest for excitement.
I look at it this way.
I'd rather be judged by 12 than be carried by 6 ! If your gonna live a dull and boring life, you might as well be dead !

I had to go to Home Depot today.
What's up with the 15 Handy Cap stalls in the front of this store ??!!

For Pet's sake people, everybody knows these people aren't there to buy anything !
They just walk up and down the isles for the exercise !!

Get rid of those stalls right now and give us more Loading zones !
I say, park them in the back. Ok, let's give them two spots up front.
Those old guys always like to come in pairs !

I use them myself, so I will bite my tongue any further on this subject.
