Hi guys,
I am sorry for taking so long in replying. I have a lot of trouble concentrating these days. I have forgotten how to use this tablet. Mrs. Frenchie's is helping out this post.

Simple things have become very difficult to deal with. It will soon become time to move into my new digs, it is a Palative care hospice, five minutes from my home. I toured the place a few days ago and I was impressed.

My biological kids live far away and there is room available here free of charge if they want to stay the night. The only downside that I could see is that I would have no say when it comes to meal times. You take what is provided.

I have discoved that God has a sense of humor, the sicker I get the luckier I get at the casino. That is the only source of entertainment these days.

All the news that I have is grim and I didn't want to burden you folks with it over the holidays. First the good news, I am alive and relatively pain free. I take low dose pain medication for my bowel cancer that is the only area that is causing me pain at the moment.

I am starting to dread my monthly appointments with my doctor. My cancer keeps spreading and the options to correct are invasive.

Here is an example, I recently have to get my metal stent replaced between my bladder and kidney since it had been a year and was now partially blocked. They had a hell of time replacing it due to cancer in that area. They could not fit it in 100% so now I have pain and blood when I urinate. If this fails again then the only alternative will be to insert a tube directly into my kidney through my back and urniate that way. This is not something I am looking forward to.

With Mrs. Frenchie's help I will try and post more often. My brain feels like a camera that is out of focus. I have practically given up driving, I mostly just drive to the casino as I know my way there and back. Even that may soon have to come to an end.

I miss all of you guys!!

So good to hear from you Frenchie. Many thanks to Mrs. F for the assistance.

I like CRGuy's idea about delivery and take out in case you want a special something.

Sorry to hear about the pain, glad you like the hospice center well enough.

There you are ya little rascal! You stopped by when I wasn't looking. Then I wrote a reply AND lost the dang thing  One thing about CT Frenchie: its existence is based on bad news, support thereof, sprinkled w/some victories & always educational. Guess we're the Bad News Bears (like the movie) So the point being, if it was all good news, nobody would be here.

You've tolerated the pain & bleeding from that stent for some time now, though the alternative procedure does sound less than pleasant to be sure. You must catch bullets in your teeth...one tough guy.

This care facility sounds like a good find & so close to home. That will make it easier for the Mrs. to keep an eye on you & sneak you in some extra snacks for your own personal stash. Everything is a trade off in one way or another, but you'll find a work around, such as CRguy mentioned.

I suppose some days are going to be fuzzier than others, but it was sure good to hear from you!
Appreciate the time & effort w/the tablet from "Team Frenchie" to touch base w/us. :)

Take Care Frenchie (you too Mrs. Frenchie),

My brain functions much like Ground hog Day.
Mrs Frenchie has to repeat herself several times a day. I am constantly asking her what day of the week we are today.
I will try and check in once a week with Mrs Frenchie's help.

Damn, Frenchie... can't you go and check if you can get into this immunotherapy trial #NCT02060188
A Study of Nivolumab, or Nivolumab Combinations in Recurrent and Metastatic Colon Cancer (CheckMate 142)
Canada, Alberta
Cross Cancer Institute Recruiting
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, T6G 1Z2
Contact: Michael Sawyer, Site 0027
Dr Sawyer office Tel: 780.432.8248

https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/study/NCT02060188

Or at least ask your doctor to get you nivolumab + cobimitinib on a compassionate basis. You never know, you are a living proof of that! (and neither of those are chemo... I wouldn't do that to you).
All my love.

here's a joke popular in Russia perhaps a favorite of V. Putin himself???

A young boy says to his father "Dad, our math teacher is asking to see you."
"What happened?" The father asks.
"Well, she asks me, 'how much is 7 * 9?' I answer '63' , then she asks, 'and 9 * 7?' so I asked 'what's the fucking difference?' "
"Indeed, what is the difference?" asks the father. ''Sure, I'll go.''
The next day, the boy comes home from school "Dad, have you gone by the school?" He asks.
"Not yet."
"Well when you do, come and see the gym teacher also."
"Why?" asks the father.
The boy explains, "Well we had a gym class today, and he asked me to raise my left arm, I did. Then my right arm, I also raised it. Then he asked me to lift my right leg, so I did. 'Now,' he says, 'lift your left leg,' so I asked 'What, am I suppose to stand on my cock!?'"
"Exactly," says the father. "Alright, I'll come."
The next day, the boy asks his father "Did you go to the school?"
"No, not yet."
"Don't bother, I got expelled."
Surprised, the father asks "Why did you get expelled?"
"Well, they summoned me to the principal's office, and sitting there were the math teacher, the gym teacher, and the art teacher."
"The fuck was the art teacher doing there!?" asks the father.
"That's what I said" replied the boy.
