Well Frenchie, one thing good about Trudeau getting in is that it won't be long and you will be able to get your pot easier and it won't have to be medicinal. No worries of getting caught at least!!
Nice to see your sense of humor hasn't changed. I always enjoy your jokes.

They are not that bad to live with. I got use to mine fairly quickly.

They are not fool proof. One of my most embarrassing moments was at an elegant restaurant miles from home. Right in the middle of dinner, the bag came off and everything slithered down my pant leg !!

Just picture that happening for a moment. Now I have to grab my ankle with both hands immediately, and navigate my way, crouched in two , through a crowded dinning room to the exit. All the while, I'm trying to explain to a confused waitress why I can't let go of my ankle to pay the bill !

I have learned from moments like this to always carry a spare set of clothes and extra bags.
Not that it helped me that night. I had to give my leg a shake beside the car, then sit in this mess all the way home. No place to clean up. I wasn't about to go back in. I never went back to that restaurant ever again.

Funny, funny stuff if it would have happened to someone else, but sometimes you can't help but laugh at yourself. I get a chuckle now when I think about moments like these.

I had a hospital bed installed in the sunroom recently. I spend all my time in there now. I was finding it difficult to breath when I lay flat on my back. Now I can elevate my head at will. It will only get worse as time goes on.

You crack me up Frenchie...or I guess you were crack up!   Some things are funny when we reflect back & enough time has gone by! Those hospital beds can come in handy for things like that, especially since both ends are adjustable. Just have to be careful you don't end up in a "V" & can get out of the thing! Hope you've got an "eggcrate" type mattress topper on there for comfort, which I think are provided anymore these days.

Hello everyone,

Mrs. Frenchie here. I know that Frenchie had not been keeping you updated or posting as often as he should so I thought I would try my hand at this for him.

He has an appointment with his doctor at the end of the month which is a good thing as his pain is increasing. The doctor will need to increase his pain meds.

His attitude is still good, he still goes out to walk with dogs and me but he is tired, so tired.

Either Ron or I will come back at the beginning of June with an update.

We do care about & miss "our Frenchie". Appreciate you stopping by Mrs. F.
We are here for you too.
Frenchie...hope the docs come up w/a formula to minimize the pain...maybe a fentanol patch or something. They'll figure it out.

As always, everything on your terms...

Big pat on the back, my friend.

Thank you for the update Mrs Frenchie. I hope they can get his pain under control. Also hoping spring really arrives here soon so his walks are more enjoyable! It has been so cool and windy lately. Sounds like rain for the next week, which will be good for all the fires, so can't complain.

glad to get the update about Frenchie. I come here and lurk ever-so-often to check up and see how everyone is doing. It's so true that this place gets to seem like "family",...and even though we've never met,...I feel like I know many here. I find that I care very much what is happening to each one. I will be thinking about you Frenchie,...when I get out and take my walks.
