Bitchslapped,
Those were all excellent suggestions to add to the sunroom.
I will do that today. I live in there now. My mobility has become very
limited very quickly. I
This paralizing stuff is all new to me. The oncoligist is up in arms over
this. She has been on the phone again with me today, trying to persuade me to
Go to emergency and let them do an MRI immediately to see what the heck is
happining.
I told her that whatever is happining to me could wait until my wife is off on
Monday. I doubt things will get worse until then.

This latest turn of events puts a damper on things. I don't think I can drive
My car at the moment. At least, I know better than that. I can't trust my legs
anymore. OVERNIGHT!! I'm telling you folks, no more sleep for this old
Boy. EVER !!

Peanut, I am having a very productive day today.

I ventured out for the first time today. I went to Walmart and the medical supply store.
I bought one of those chairs that you push in front of you. My legs give out suddenly
now so this chair is ideal. It will greately help with my mobility.

I had to use a regular wheelchair at Walmart. I'll tell you this Peanut, I am no Rick
Hanson, the guy who rolled his wheelchair across Canada for cancer years ago now.

I am off all medications completely now. That is with the exception of a steroid
that they only adminester to terminal patients in my condition. Like the Pallative oncologist
said very clearly to me; this is the last silver bullet in her gun. It will last between
one and five months only. Then I am on my own, if by the grace of God I am still
Alive !!
I have her blessing and her signature on paper stating that I can smoke all
the pot I like, that as far as they can tell, that is the only contributing factor
In my survival. I smoke about an ounce to an ounce and a half a week these days.
It depends on what I can afford. I am on a budget just like everyone else. I have
been using my gambling money to pay for this these days. I don't feel well enough
togo out lately. Might as well stay home and listen to some good tunes and chill
out at home with my BFF.

I am completely ready for this latest challange. I woke up paralized on Friday. It is now
Saturday afternoon and my house is completely converted for my needs !!
I bought all the other things needed for my comfort as well.
Bring it on cancer: HIT ME WITH BEST SHOT ........FIRE AWAY !!

Hi Frenchie,

Glad to hear your house is setup and completely converted for your needs, that was really fast work.

I know doctors have studied for ages and have years of experience, but they always look on the side of Doom and Gloom, they told my husband back in December 2013 that if he went to Nigeria in January 2014 for his yonger brothers wedding like we had already planned, he would die in Nigeria before they had a chance to even start Chemo.

As you can see from my Signature he proved them wrong and only 10 months after going to Nigeria lost his battle, but I'm telling you Frenchie he was a fighter just like you, he told the doctor the day before he died, that very soon he would see him walking around and playing with the children, he never gave up.

I'm just saying, don't think about Numbers and what the Doctors say, just focus on what is Important and work toward each goal, which you have done, Converted House Done, Scooter being Done, Birthday Coming Soon..... so whats the next goal after your Birthday?

One of the chores I had after school was cleaning and maintaining
The business administration room at the Business Collage my parents sent me
to after I was kicked out of high school twice in one year !

One of my chores was cleaning the typewriters and changing out the ribbons.
The typewriters that gave me a hard time, I found a trick to have them all return
to lower case lettering when you tried to use upper case !!
It drove the students nuts until they cought on ! Boy, those fella's were
sore at me for awhile !

I worked alone at night with all these lettered characterers around me, what
did you expect ??? I told you before, the insanity was gradual !!

OK so I am slightly younger than you and those type writters were in a museum when I was at school.....

But when I was in Computer class in Secondary School (I supose that is High school I was about 13) I always went on different computers and put the Clicking speed on the computer mice to high, so none of the beginners could work the mouse....

Here is something insightful Peanut.

During my single years, after the children had left home, I decided to do the same.

I had been a single parent for as long as I was needed, now it was my turn to explore
the world on my own. I bought and customized a motorhome for my long term needs
and set off to see the world up front and personal like !! Just me and my dog.

I am a board certified master recreational vehicle technician. I am qualified to
teach in Alberta and BC as well as in Ontario. I teach courses at the college level.

I never had any problems getting work where ever I chose to in Canada. I called these
my working holidays. I worked all over Canada. The Yukon Territories were the most
facinating of all. I have lots of fond memories and pictures of that area.

Did you know that the native people left their dead where ever they died on the land??
I have pictures of this ( CRGuy I need you to up load stuff like this).
They would dress them in their best clothing, then place rocks on them until
they were sure scavengers could not get at the body. Then they would place a
cross on the grave, say a prayer and leave them behind. I have pictures of this.

I also have pictures of a plane wreck I managed to hike to while I was in the arctic.
It was a plane with 6 missionaries inside leaving a small village in bad weather.
I found partially burned pictures in the wreckage that I returned to the pilots wife.
He was a friend of mine.

Canada is such a beautiful country. I wish I could see all your pictures, Frenchie.
And of course, all the ones of the travel trailers.
I also like hearing of the different cultures.

Peanut, I will be getting that 4 wheel scooter this weekend !
I want to finish my BFF's trailer on the weekend also.
The weather will play a roll. If it is too nice outside and the wind dies down,
We will drop every thing and go fishing !!

My Mom had the heart of a race horse as well. By the time they found
Her cancer, she was riddled with it. Just like me now. She smoked
For over 40 years so she was not too surprised by the outcome of the
Examination. They gave her 6 months and she died withe days of their
Predication.

She was very humble and cavalier about her illness and the whole dying
thing. A lot like my way of thinking. She had absolutely no fear of death.
She was a devout Catholic and had her mind set on HEAVEN ....... I'm sure she is waiting
At the gate to give my very own wings !!

A mountain climbing trip that CHANGED MY OUTLOOK ON LIFE FOREVER !!

After the children left home, I went back on the road looking for adventure and work
in that order !
I spent that summer in a small town in the Rocky Mountains on HWY 3
away from all the tourist traps. This is the old highway through the Rockies and it is
not as well traveled as the Trans Canada highway to the north.

There is still plenty of wilderness on this side of the Rockies. Lots of places to
explore but you must use caution. The old abandond mines in this area are still
fairly accessible to the public. I have a few momentos from some of these mines.
It is just like they quit for lunch and never came back to work. Most of the good
scavenging was done years ago. If you look hard enough, there is still neat old things
in some of the odd drawers and alcoves and crannies. I have hauled a few good
momentos from there.Just keep snooping. I did not recal seeing a No Trespassing
Signs anywhere nearby. There is lots to explore in that area, including the
remains of a town that was buried under millions of tons of rock when a mountain collapsed. in the middle of the night and covered two thirds of the town.

The opening to the mine where miners were now trapped inside, the train bridge and
trolly. The train was running and idling on the bridge waiting for its turn to load at the time of the tragedy and the engineer gunned it for all he was worth and cleared the tracks secondsbefore it was distroyed !! Everyone on the train lived to tell the tale. Many people were killed. Most of them were buried while the were asleep in their homes.
They are still buried under there , asleep in their beds since the tragedy. Every
now and then they still find some remains while excavating for something or other in
area.
By the way, the miners that were trapped in the mine finally dug themselves
out on their own. When they realized they were trapped, one fellow started singing
And the others soon chimed in. They refused to panic and it saved each and every one
them !! Something to keep in mind if you find yourself in a gam. SING YOUR HEART OUT!
Definitely a MUSH SEE area before it gets overrun with
tourists years from now. Very, very picturesque at the present time.
I am afraid to lose my work so I will submit what I've got so far. My tablet is finiky
