We plan on linking up with friends over
the summer. After all, we live in paradise
remember ? We can attract all the friends
we want. We don't really want that many.
They all want to see the same thing
over and over, bla, bla . Etc.

Better just the two of us.

A lot of people follow this one.
The Grim Reaper and I still play Russian
roulette every night.
None of that has changed. The only real
difference is that I can no longer
rely on Mrs Frenchie's trusty clock !
I may never come out of the Rockies
this time. What a great place
to end my days ! I would be perfectly ok
with that. In fact, I hope it turns out
that way.

Jay my not feel the same way about
that part. We are nowhere near
there yet. We will cross that bridge
When we come to it.

Frenchie, what I envy most about your journey is!
1. No one asking you how you feel
2. No one telling you you look good.
3. No one telling you to hang in there
4. No one telling you NOTHING
5. the inner peace you must feel
6. Nature
7.Knowing you did it your way.
I could go on and on but I think you get my drift.
I am thinking about something simalar but know my family would object and on course
I have to do the right thing. No one ever asks me what I want. I will quit bitching now!
Have a safe and wonderful trip Frenchie !!!

Jackie,
I wish everyone understood like you
do.
I made the sympathy thing pretty
clear at the onset. I don't want any
of that. I don't feel one bit sorry
for myself. Why should anyone else ??

I have been beat to hell and back
with all the challenges I have
encountered these last couple months.

So much for taking it slow.
Just like that, in no time flat, I went
from hardship to ready to go !

My nephew taging along will make all the
Difference in the world. Now we can get
To the more secluded sites that are still
unspoiled.

My nephew is very modest. What he
did not mention is that he is driving
3000 miles cross country to come and
help out his uncle !! He plans on being
here before my birthday on June 9th.

Longevity study followed over 100 years .
A Swedish study that followed the health
of 855 men born over a century ago,
Including 10 who lived to be centenarians.
They found several keys for a long life:

Maintain safe cholesterol levels
Don't drink more than 4 cups of coffee
a day.
Don't smoke.

They also found that those who owned
homes and had mothers that lived a
long life, lived longer themselves.

They surveyed the men throughout their
lives on their habits and health. They
also kept track of how they died.

More than a quarter of the group lived
to be 80, 13% to 90, 1.1% made it to
100 or more.

The study found that 42 % of deaths after
The age of 80 were due to cardiovascular
deasease.
20 % to infectious disease. 8% to stroke.
8% to cancer. 6% to pneumonia.
16% to other causes.

Another important fact to note; nearly
a quarter of the over 80 group were
diagnosed with some form of Dementia .

This study's unique design has enabled
us to identify the factors that influence
Survival after age 50. Said Liam Mars,
Who has been involved himself for
The past 50 years.

I just got back from the mountains.

I have some fantastic news. I was able
to secure one of the last available campsites
in all of the Rockies. I had a few minutes to
decide. They just don't come up like that.
this is a fully serviced seasonal site in the
middle of the Rocky Mountains !!

You bet your bottom dollar I took it !
We had to go to town for cash for a
deposit. Very expensive but well worth it.
That will be our home base. We will
spread out from there and explore that region
really well.

It was a stroke of luck. I was in the right
Place, at the right time for a change.
Things are looking up ! That would have
been gone by the end of the day.

Seasonal sites in the Rockies are usually
Impossible to find. We have it until next
May !!

If I am still here this winter, we can
Do some winter camping. That is also
a lot of fun.
