Hang in there Frenchie. WE are all behind you here, no matter what you are doing
BUTT I must say your attitude is great, and YOU are an inspiration many times over.

As for boredom- keep busy any way you can- even if you are not able to physically do something to move the project along that moment
It sounds as if your family & friends are willing participants- so instruct them what you need done & that will keep you happy to see progress
I'm hoping none of this comes into play until many, many moons from now, & your attitude gives you superhuman strength, zero pain & lots of pleasure
I think of you often & lift my wine glass to toast you often
Hugs from California

The undertaker came over for a visit with his wife and kids yesterday. He happened to mention that his oldest girl would need braces soon.

There is one more thing that I have to do before all my energy is gone.
I have to go down to the newspaper editors office and have a chat with that boy !
It's on my "To Do" list for this week as well. I was dead serious (excuse the pun) when I talked about my wacky obituary.

I will have to remember to bring my debit card with me, I am pretty darn sure he'll want cash up front !!

In addition to cash up front, the editor may want a note from a psychiatrist stating you are not certifiably insane!

I feel GREAT today !!

I woke up this morning feeling absolutely fit as a fiddle !!

I have energy and drive, it almost feels like I've never been sick. I love it when I have one of those days !! I do still have them, but they are few and far between at times.

I'm going to try and make it to the paper and plead my case.
I may have to use the cancer card and do a little arm twisting.

Hay, I'm dying here, let me have a little fun while I still can !!

It seems like I've been on here a lot. I feel so good these past few days and the weather has been amazing, I felt like sharing some of the good times with you guys. A little insight on the things that gives me the determination to soldier on.

I did something crazy today and I loved every minute of it.

I was on my way to do the first thing on my "To. Do" list and there were some good tunes happening on the radio.
Suddenly, I opened the windows on the caddy and gunned it a bit. I decided then and there that the "To Do" list could wait !! Instead, I took the back roads to some picturesque part of our county and roamed the countryside all afternoon. It's those spur of the moment things that reminds me not to take life to seriously. None of us are getting out alive anyway.

I'm "old school" when it comes to cars. I hate air conditioning. I won't turn it on. I roll down the windows and step on the gas. That's all the air conditioning I need. Works for me !!

YES, I have made it till Springtime !!

It may not sound like such a big deal to some, but to me it is exilarating !
A sure sign of spring, the Popsicles came out today for the season. This silly little tid bit put a big smile on my face.

This string of good days that I've had won't last much longer I'm afraid. A week is about the best I can hope for these days.
Whenever I'm having a bad day, I remind myself that others on here are far worse off than I am.
I am blessed with fact that I don't experience cancer pain of any kind. Never have.
I had pain for a week in total when I had my last surgery, but that could have been Gas !!

The general consensus among the doctors involved is that it may take a wooden stake through the heart or a silver bullet to finally bring down old Frenchie !!

Happy trails today !

WOW !!

My wife forgot to turn her alarm clock On this morning and I thought I was a goner !!
I said to my self " this is it, ITS OVER !!"

I rely on her and her trusty clock to remind me every morning that I'm still alive.
TIC, TOC, TIC, TOC, every morning for the last 5 years.

Every night when I close my eyes, the Grim Reaper and I play a little game of Russian Roulette. I don't get to find out who wins untill morning !!

Now I know exactly what to get her for the next big occasion, a backup alarm clock !!

Frenchie, you are just a gem. The way you take this crummy road and make it as good as can be, the way you play roulette with Mr. GR, your unstoppable sense of humor -- bravo! Happy Spring!
