You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
Meanwhile the world goes on.
Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain
are moving across the landscapes,
over the prairies and the deep trees,
the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting —
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.

He has fought a very long and courageous battle with this monster and I am so very proud to have been here with him. I will be there at his side to the very end :(
Diane

He surely has...you both have been in the trenches together in very different ways. He knows you will be there best you can to love & support, see him through Palliative Care, ensuring his needs are met to the best possible level.
I understand your anguish Diane.

I hope you have support from friends or family for yourself.

Holding thoughts of you both very close.

Dear Diana,
Sorry to hear the sad news. I wished Ron would have found a wayout for a 10th escape, but we all knew there were little options.

Ron was here long before I joined, but boy did he make an impression. I've enjoyed the courageous manner he dealt with life. He's been an inspiration and made me learn a lot.
He has fought a very long and courageous battle with this monster and I am so very proud to have been here with him. Diane

So true. Please hold on to your pride. He and you deserve so.
With condolences,
Leon
