I took my BFF to the fair. We had a blast. He did not want to go on the rides alone. It was rather hilarious to see me all crouched up in a kiddie ride along side my BFF !
We filled up on junk food and candy floss. It was the most fun I've had at a fair in a long time.

I saw the doctor recently. She told me the best thing I could do was to give up drinking, smoking and start eating healthy food. So I asked her "what's the second best thing ?? "

If you think nobody cares if your alive, try missing a couple of bill payments.

The doctor says I'm healthy enough for sexual activity, but not attractive enough.
I'm less of a catch, and more a ' catch and release '.

It's true that married men live longer than single men, but they're a lot more willing to die.

A recent survey shows that nine out of ten men prefer big boobs. The tenth man prefers the other nine men.

That's all Folks !!

Frenchie, I had to look up candy floss. I've never heard cotton candy called that! :) Glad you enjoyed some time w/the little guy. They have a way of delivering their own special brand of joy.

My favorite:

I let my curiosity get the best of me. I have agreed to have another CT scan to see how much more the cancer has spread. It's been nine months since the last one.

I had disallowed any more scans but the doctors are perplexed at my continued good health.
They want to study my case more closely and asked that I continue the scans. Now they are thinking it may have something to do with my immune system.

According to my oncologist, I should be bedridden by now at the very least. Instead, my stamina has improved lately.

Mrs Frenchie has persuaded me to come with her on her long walks with the dogs. Some times we walk two or three miles a day ! Not every day mind you. Some days I can barely climb out of my motorhome.

I have about three or four good days a week lately. Days where I feel almost normal. I don't look sick either. I love that. I kept a good tan on all summer. Most people have no idea that anything is wrong with me.

I have also decided to roll the dice and raise the anty once again. I have gone back to the Warfarin pills that were partially responsible for my internal bleeding the last time around. I am not deciplined enough. I kept forgetting the daily injections. I'd put them off for one reason or the other and it wouldn't happen.

Thanks for the update. Maybe they can keep you @ the low end of the range for your PT/INR's Frenchie, possibly minimize any internal bleeding risk on the warfarin while providing you w/some coverage.
You do seem to be a bit of a medical anomaly in having the docs stumped. Hope it's not too hard on you since you initially refused further scans, but I can also see you agreeing to being a human guinea pig of sorts considering your adventurous spirit!

As some of you have noticed, I haven't been on here much these days. I found that I had to take a step back from all the gloom and doom on this forum recently. I took the deaths of Pollo 65 and Voxx hard. It reminded me of my own mortality.

I don't normally think that way. I usually feel invincible. When I start thinking that way, I have to step away for awhile and get back into my groove. Right now, I'm busy making plans for next summer !!

I've said this before; dying can be so inconvenient!

I have a CT scan on the 9th with results on the 16th. I will find out what this nasty cancer has been up to these past 9 months. I have mixed emotions about hearing the results. Sometimes ignorance is bliss. What new challenges lay ahead ??

My stamina keeps improving. I now look forward to the long walks Mrs Frenchie has gotten me into. We are doing them more frequently.

I prefer not to think before I speak. I like to be just as surprised as everyone else by what comes out of my mouth.

My lesbian neighbours gave me a Rolex. I think they misunderstood when I said " I wanna watch "

I'm the guy that people see with a beautiful woman and think ' Rich or funny, that's the only way. '

Who was the first to see a cow and think: I wonder what will happen if I squeeze these dangly things and drink whatever comes out ??

Whoever said money doesn't grow on trees obviously never sold marijuana.

When you catch a fish and put it back, do you reckon it goes back to the other fish and says it was abducted by aliens?

Frenchie,

It's always good to read your post. You are truly amazing. I'm hoping (and praying) the word "remission" is a word the Dr. uses to describe your scan results. (ie, we can't it explain, but you are in remission. It's happened before).

Keep up those walks with Mrs. Frenchie, walking really is healthy for you,

Take care of yourself,
