Omg, our one dog when I was little was a mut with long curly hair and an outside dog (things were different back then) but omg, there were times I would find huge ones the size of grapes ready to pop! Eeew, I was the one who also cut her hair every summer, she looked like a short poodle sheepdog hair kinda mix.

EEww is right! They get big in your neck of the woods. This one was engorged, no larger than about 3/16", but I discovered it within 3 days. The problem w/my little Chloe is that she is immune compromised as it is. Bloodwork on Thursday shows she is again in remission from Myelodysplastic Syndrome (same as Robin Roberts) & no evidence of tick-borne disease (which the specialist says is rare anyway) based on normal to high platelet count...@ least @ this point. So Yippee Kayah there :!: :!: Whew :!: :!: Dodged that bullet.

Frenchie, where the heck are you hiding :?: :!:

Hello everyone.
I have been busy enjoying life lately and have neglected my friends on this forum.
I am bursting with optimism these days and I have no idea why. I feel like I'm about
to win the lottery or something. Everything is rosy and life is wonderful !

I have no ackes or pain of any kind, so that must play into this fantastic feeling.

I am still living full time in my motorhome. I am parked in town, fuelled up and
ready for the next adventure. It truly is a house on wheels and I love it. I plan on
venturing out on the weekend if the weather holds. Maybe Mrs Frenchie will join me,
she is good company on these trips. She has more spare time now.

I am planning a road trip with my oldest son after the labour day weekend. We will be
going to visit my second oldest son who lives in northern Alberta. It's about a 12 hr drive
door to door. We will be taking the scenic route which takes a little longer but is very picturesque. After all, half the fun is getting there !

Sounds like a plan, Stan. If your son takes over the wheel, you can be the passenger this time, relax & enjoy the scenery!
I don't understand how you have no aches or pains of any kind. You must not be moving. Just playing w/ya
