Peanut, you made me laugh again !
You always lift my spirits.

A lot of negative stuff happening family
wise.
My family has turned out to be a big
disappointment to me. They are all
wrapped up in themselves. I decided to
write them ALL off. Children and all !!
I will hire extra help
for my needs. I don't need the extra
stress at this point in time.

When they read my obituary they will
know I have moved on to the next galaxy.

Off with their heads I say !!

Please don't preach to me about family and family values. Unless you've walked in my shoes, you don't know the full picture and it doesn't
concern anyone but me and my family.

I'm on my own now. Jay is still coming
out when I need him. He is not a part of this.

I have also decided to quit smoking pot
cold turkey. I've been thinking of doing
that for awhile now. My lungs are shot and
could use the rest.
That should be interesting.
I have been smoking pot for 50 years. I may
be a little grumpy for awhile.

I live a couple hours from the hoodoos. Love them! As a kid I remember climbing all over them, but my kids have not been able to do that as they have stopped letting you do that. We spent a week camping in the Drumhellar area a few years ago, so many cool things to see and do. Of course we had to take the kids up the giant dinosaur.
Sorry things went bad with your family Frenchie. Its amazing what things you learn in these kinds of circumstances. Ideally this should bring a family closer, not drive them apart. So thankful that you have Jay coming to keep you company. I can't wait to see your mountain hideaway pics. So many amazing things so close to home for us! I have Saskatchewan about 5 miles from my house, not a lot over there, just lots of flat land! Good thing if I go west or south it improves!

CD, those Voodoos are close to my home.
I live closer to Walking on Stone provincial
Park near Milk River by the U.S./Canada
border.
I want to run the milk river soon. Just waiting
for the high water to settle down a bit.
That's the river we are waiting to run in
our 6 man raft. There are only 4 of
us. Need the extra room for
supplies and ballast.

Nobody has run it yet this summer
because of the cold and
high water. Winter run off from high in
the mountains
After we decided to wait, so did
everyone else. We may still be first yet.
We are checking it out this week. First would be
nice. I promise to take lots of pictures.

We can't have nothing but bad news
on this tread.
I will generate a bit of
Excitement soon. Love that area. So adventuresome ! That's about one hour's
drive going south from home.
So much to see and do nearby. We really
do live in Paradise. Tourist pay thousands
to see what we now take for granted at our
back door.

I may go down sooner and check it out
with the caddy. I am getting cabin fever
with this bad weather. Good reason to
check out that area soon.

Wow, I honestly did not know we had more here. I clearly need to get out more! I have never been to your neck of the woods, husband has as he worked around Milk River for a time. We have been to the Cypress Hills camping lots, but that is as far as we got. Where I live, its a good 2.5 hour drive just to find decent shopping. Gotta love living in the middle of nowhere! I love your trailer. My dad was in the RV business years ago for a short time. He tried various things to keep my brothers working. One would work well, the other was a real lazy butt. Every family has its drama!!
I hope this morning finds you with some better pain control. You are one determined man and I admire that! All of us can learn a lot from your zest for living life to its fullest with out complaining. I hope you get that ride on the Milk River! Sounds like a great time. I have never been river rafting, but am going the end of June with coworkers to Golden. Scared but excited at the same time! Hoping it warms up for you. This freezing still at night in the middle of May can stop anytime. Lots around my area have had to reseed their crops. We are lucky in that everyone has a full time job off the farm so our farming is always a bit behind, To our advantage it seems this year!

Hey Frenchie, hi from sunny Florida!

I did white water rafting down the tongariro river in New Zealand a few times, loved it and will do it again. The thrill and excitement .... As soon as you are done you want to do it all over again (even though I got tipped out and ended up going down one rapid on my own)

Frenchie, you do for you and everyone else, well....they are with you or they are not. I have a great family but far away and just do my own thing which freaks them out a bit but for me, this is living .....

Hope you are doing ok today.

Frenchie, I came for my 3 months scans and oncology appointment. Results Thursday.

Treatment and staff are not so good in UAE and my Cancer metastis was too complex for them so I came to US and they are fantastic here.

However I will go to my place in MI for ten days on Friday. Working from there but hope to get some R and R too :D

The States have great medical facilities
and awsome medical staff. Ours are
somewhat comparable. I would not have hesitated to be treated there If I thought
they could have done something different
for me.

I am having a totally pain free day. I
feel like I've never been sick today.
Go figure. What a strange acting disease
this is. No pills, no leg pain. No pain
of any kind today. I hope it lasts a few
days like in the past.

Doggie side car will be extra.

Great Frenchie .... Long may it last! I hope your pain stays away and you get some good weather to do things !

I had a friend of mine the other day say that "you will be fine as you have no pain anymore". I just shook my head and agreed. I just couldn't be bothered explaining the complexities of this disease. Sometimes, I just don't care and let them think whatever makes them feel good!

Kenny .... Really ha ha we could all get one .....

Where can I get myself one of those ? That looks so cool.
I can always use new wheels. It has to be electric to comply with campground
rules. I was actually thinking about a used golf cart. That would be more suitable

I have a golf cart in northern wisc. Where we have our trailer parked. It's in a campground on the Chippewa flowage. I no that campground like the back of my hand. If it wasn't for my golf cart I would be sitting a lot. I also break the rules and take it on the highway to get to my favorite bar. So glad your pain free. I hope you get many more days of relief. As far a your family, it probably wound be a good idea to be free of all the drama. Take care

I am not one to speak ill of the dead........unless they have it coming.

I have never understood why, when a person dies, all of a sudden the rest of us are
expected to pretend they were Mother Teresa.

A friend of mine was killed while driving drunk awhile back. Try as I might, I could
not feel sorry for him. He loved his booze.

Friends thought I was cold hearted to feel that way. After all, he was dead. The fact
that he caused his own death seemed to have no relevance to them. At least the
fool did not take anyone with him when he crashed.

Someone said " Earth lost a soul but heaven gained an angle. "
I smirked, cleared my throat, and almost opened my big mouth, at the wake !

Well, it looks like I have to pay an extra 2 thousand dollars to have my nephews camper van
parked next to mine. Park rules apparently. You can not have two RV's on the same lot.
They found him a tiny spot a few feet away that will work for us. That was the only option
they came up with.

I may have to start panhandling or robbing gas stations to stay afloat !!
I think it would be fun to be a robber. The ultimate rush. It's the getting caught part that is
stopping me. Banks is where the money is. That caddy is quick ! I would love a good
car chase. I bet you that would get some tongs wagging. I better not get any more ideas
like that, I may act on it !
