CT results...

CEA .70 (?????) way low for me, could be error

Findings:
Lung and Large Airways: Bilateral subcentimeter pulmonary nodules again noted. There is a 7mm irregular-shaped parenchymal nodule, previously 5mm. There is a 5mm left upper lobe nodule, previously 5mm. There is a 4mm right lower lobe nodule, previously 3mm. Some of this minimal variation in size of each nodule could be due to slice selection.

No new nodules/abnormalities.

Maybe vacations are good for lowering CEA!

Are you on any chemo for the nodules?

My last CT scan was basically the same as the previous, mostly stable nodules with some mild growth to a few of the lung thangs. My oncologist says it's fine to hold off on chemo for now.
MSS, KRAS Wild NRAS Mutated
9/2012 CRC IIB Lft Colectomy 0 lymph nodes 0 Chemo
10/2013 CT clear

11/15 Spread to uterus. Hysterectomy
2/16 Pelvic radiation 25, brachytherapy 3
4/16 - 6/16 Xeloda
6/16 CT Several lung nodules 5 mm
8/16 CT Nodules still present. Most stable. Some growth
11/16 Transfer to UCSD Moores
12/16 Folfox + Avastin failed
2/17 Folfiri + Erbitux
8/17 5FU+Erbitux No 5FU bolus
7/18 Spread to vagina
6/18 Folfiri + Avastin + Trametinib
6/18 CEA dropping

UDATE: COPIED FROM NEW THREAD POST (for my record here)

CT results...
Findings:
Lung and Large Airways: Since the previous exam there is evidence of worsening metastatic disease in both lungs. The largest lesion in the right lung is in the upper right lobe and measures 10 mm in greatest dimension compared to 6 mm on the most recent comparison. There has also been slight increase in size of multiple nodules in the right upper lobe including a new 5 mm right upper lobe nodule, a 7 mm right upper lobe nodule that previously measured 6 mm, and some superior segment right lower lobe nodules that measure 4 and 5 mm in size. There is also a 16 x 8 mm spiculated nodule in the left lower lobe measuring 13 x 6 mm on the most recent comparison and only 5 mm in greatest dimension in May 2016. No evidence for infiltration or consolidation. Dependant atelectasis is seen in both.

Mediastinum/Aorta: The heart is normal in size. No pericardial effusion. There is a new 13 mm short axis left hilar lymph node likely representing metastatic disease. The Aorta is normal in caliber.

Impression:
1. Evidence of mildly worsening metastatic disease through both lungs with the most significant increase in nodules within the right upper lobe and left lower lobe.
2. New left hilar lymph node is mildly enlarged and likely represents metastatic disease.
3. Stable appearance of partial left hepatectomy as well as sigmoid resection and anastomosis.
---------------

PET/CT in 2 days (Thursday) followed by biopsy asap.

Nik, it sucks, but you can entretein those little bastards, without getting symptoms, during *years* just with the standard of care. And just imagine the possibilities with the new treatments (immunotherapies) which are showing good results for some. Hang in there.

Yes, we will wait and see exactly, but we did talk a little bit about options. Hoping for the best
