Hi ritz
I know this is hard . But you can discuss this with onc ...butt if your sick your not going to want sugery right away,IMO and the drs do things in a certain way for a reason. I' am hopping you feel better soon. This cancer thing just has so many ups and downs. We all try to get through it the best we can.

Just judging from 1st to 2nd. 1st was not too bad, 2nd worse, I Dont think I can go through 6 more if they keep getting worse, then surgery which I don't mind, but then another 6? Imo, just do the surgery Now!
Hell, cut me from head to toe! Just want to stop this chemo!

Oh he'll ya my first tx was like this is chemo ! Piece of cake everything was fine ! I thought it was going to be easy ... But second tx hit me like a ton of bricks ! I called onc and they adjusted chemo right away! I was only 97 lbs at time of treatment, I couldn't even get out of bed after the second one! Burning in hands and feet something fierce! Once chemo was adjusted it was much better.

97 lbs...holy crap! I was only that weight when I was younger and semi anorexic as you can see from my younger pics. Now not, actually slightly above norm which I did partly cuz I wanted to eat and drink as much as I could b4. But still nowhere near that. I Could Stand To Lose A Few lbs

I was so sick before I got my diagnosis . I kept losing weight while drs were trying to figure out what was wrong with me! I couldn't even look at my self in mirror looked like a freakin skeleton , just bones with skin ugh that probably why the tx hit me so hard on second one!

I just finished my 3rd round of folfox. Next time they are adding avastin back in to the mix. The side effects have increased each time for me, and this time they seemed to hit me hard. I keep telling myself that I can do anything 3 more times. Some of your side effects could be from your strep too, I would think that chemo + strep would be much worse than just chemo. Maybe your next round won't be quite as hellish.

Update:
Got chest x ray to check since I had strep and the weird cough reaction after last tx. Everything looked ok so hopefully it won't happen tomorrow when I go in for my 3rd tx.
I will update results when I have them.

(sorry, my little online journal:)

I hope so, I still have this cough that won't do away and I am hoping the tx doesn't cause the same reaction this time. That's the only thing I'm nervous about
