Postby exaussie » Wed Feb 04, 2015 11:52 am

So sorry to offend you with my bad news posts I come here for support, love and understanding. If all things were possible my son's belief of being cancer free would have happened. He never doubted that right up to the point of almost being carried into oncologists ready to take a chemo hit one more time and being told sorry no more. You want to know the power of believing----he lived only 27 hours after this news.
Val*pal right on your husband and my son had to keep up that belief to make it through this awful disease.

Well Kelly, if you've read some of the comments here, you may have surmised that your initial post was a bit confusing. If you get a chance, maybe you could clarify it. On a positive note, I saw my onc yesterday, and got the results of my 3 month post chemo blood test. All good.

Perhaps you can learn to see that, too, or just click on the topics you know you will want to see--that's easy to do. How do you think your post helps someone like me who is having tough times to find that the first topic is "I don't want to hear you!"? I don't mind if you don't want to read about my difficult times, but I sure don't appreciate your posting such a mean message. If you don't want to care about a member's death, don't read about it. I'm always confused when reading a post like this that sounds "Christian" in it's topic "all things... to those who believe" and it's closing "have a blessed day" -- and yet see so little compassion! WWJD?

Jesus never turned his face away from pain and suffering. He would want us to embrace our friends who share this path, and support them through the darkest moments, no matter how hard that may be. Just IMO, of course.

I'm so sorry as I feel my post was taken out of context... Guess I'm not good at expressing. I was having a weak moment and couldn't sleep. I love the fact that you can share ups and downs here. And yes, I know I shouldn't open posts that I suspect will be upsetting. It's just so hard not too. Please don't ever think I've been offended by a post. Quite the contrary. I have great compassion and admiration for all of you here. We are all in this together.

No problem Kelly. That is how I read it. Reality is tough and you found that hard to digest at times. I wish you well with your treatment and hope you have many good days ahead.

It seems obvious to me that the J-man is far to busy helping people out with other things like exams, mortgages, getting out of speeding tickets and so on. So we're going to have to pick up the slack ourselves.

Kenny that's funny. I have an awkward moment with viagra-- my parents were visiting a few years back and my dad asked me to find his misplaced viagra--definitely not something a daughter needs to hear haha

That reminds me of that hilarious Superbowl ad, where the little blue pill goes flying out the window, bounces around a lot and finally hits the fiat. I'm not quite sure how to explain the results, other than to say the fiat was ENHANCED.

here's the link, in case you missed it or want to watch it again:

Kelly thanks for the clarification.
