Admitted in Hospital for paralyzing backpain!

Postby singingholly » Thu Jan 29, 2015 11:48 pm

Here I am... waiting for a total RMN of the column.
I'm also having a break in my sperimental therapy (Nintedanib) because bone and articular pains could be a side effect of the drug...
Now pain is under control and I can walk again. I've been afraid I was about to lose my legs... This seems not to be an option for the moment!
See you my friends.

Thank you all my friend for your warm big hug.
Thankfully it's becoming evident that this pain is a side effect of nintedanib. This means that I'm assuming the drug and not the placebo... I will stay off therapy till next CT scan (february 3rd) and then we will see what to do.
Now pain is decreasing very rapidly and I will probably be released tomorrow.
I'm almost shocked, happily shocked, because I was expecting for spine mets... I couldn't walk anymore!
Anyway I have an RMN programmed for next week and this wil add informations to the strange picture of my back...
I think I'll have a little sleep now...
Love to all.
Olivia
