Happy Dance

Just got home from onco hubby is still NED. Woo Hoo !!!!! I didn't know if I should post because I feel so bad for those who are fighting so relentless. God bless all.
Caregiver of hubby
Rectal cancer 4/13
C-scan, Pet-scan 4/13
Kidney cancer 4/13
Port 4/13
Chemo and Radiation 6 weeks
Surgery 8/19

Removed left kidney and rectal tumor temp ilestomy
hospital dehydration and partial stoma block
Chemo to start around 10/15
Ned 03/25/14
Still Ned 03/10/16 Woo Hoo

CT Scan moved up due to high CEA 08/21/17
NED 09/25/17
NED 12/21/18
Clear colonoscopy 09/23/19
Clear 5 year scans 11/21/19- Considered cured! :)

Folfox sept 2010 to feb 2011
10 tx only stopped due to low wbc

This is wonderful news for everyone of us. You have the sacred right to be happy and celebrate, even more in respect of those who are now fifhting so hard. We're all fighting the same enemy and battle.

That's great.
Male Age 53. Dx CC with numerous liver mets 6/23/12. Colon res 6/24/12. Started folfox 7/24/12. Added avastin 8/27/12. CT 12/27/12 still showing shrink. Took 17 rounds of FOLFOX. Then 5-FU + Avastin. Switched to Irinotecan for 1 yr. CEA rose to >400. Switched to Vectibix 2/18/15. CEA decreasing. Scans show some growth in liver mets. Lung Mets stable to shrinking.

We get his port flushed every 6 weeks for the last 1 1/2 years? I was just wondering how long onco saids at least 2 more years.
