4 month scans is great news and it must make you happy and scared at the same time.

It's been 2 years and 10 months. You're already at 6 month scans, right? My onc is a bit more conservative with me, but I had both liver and lung involvement. How often do you have CEA and blood work? She wants mine every 2 months. And I agree about the scary part, but I'm still grabbing each day as it arrives and enjoying it to the fullest!

Julie,
I find it strange, freeing and disconcerting at the same time. I feel like I was like "can you do me 3 monthly prof?" and he did once, but after that he was fairly insistent that we move to 1/2 yearly. I feel much freer than every 3 months but it is scary.
I asked him (the onc) about the 80% of recurrences happening in the first 2 years statistic, he was "yeah, for those up to stage III but you are not in that category, so you can by some champagne at 2 years, you can probably open it at 3 years if you are an optimist, but I'd not do that until 5 if I was you". Did I mention that he was cautious?

How's the running going at the moment for you?
