It is written from the perspective of doctors defending themselves, but that makes it even more useful. I am considering whether or not a malpractice suit is called for in my situation. At the very least, I now know a lot more about what the proper standard of care is. Anyone going in for a colonoscopy needs to ask the questions the article lists:
Quality of bowel prep
Rectal examination
Length of exam time and withdrawal time
Photography and video recording during exam
The doctor's detection rate
Followup evaluation measures (VERY IMPORTANT!)
