just a note...Splenda is an artificial sweetener, and it can cause intestinal issues, but it's not one of the 'tols.
It's sucralose, and it can appear on food labels as sucralose, not as the trademarked "Splenda." So if you're sensitive to artificial sweeteners, you need to read labels religiously.
'tols (sorbitol, xylitol, maltitol) can also show up on newer nutrition labels under the 'sugar alcohols' category under total carbohydrates (in the big print area.)
