When I was in elementary school we had three girls who all had birthdays in November. I still fondly remember those days. Debbie's birthday was on November 14th, Margaret's was on the 15th and mine was on the 16th. Three days of cupcakes and class parties. It was hard for our parents to plan bday parties on the weekend.....since we all went to the same all girls' school we all had the same friends. Since Debbie and Margaret were born in '55 and I was born in '56, they teased me on their birthdays that they were a whole year older than me. It always made me so upset back then....now, I'm glad to be just that little bit younger
I lost track of Debbie but Margaret and I are still friends....she was one of my bridesmaid at my wedding. Our weddings were a day apart....I wasn't in her wedding...I was on our honeymoon. Even our parents had birthdays a day apart. Her dad's was February 17th, my dad's was February 18th and my mom's was February 19th.
Not sure why I decided to post this....just reminiscing I guess. This is my time of year....Christmas music is on the TV radio stations as of yesterday...raining outside and inside is nice and cozy with the pellet stove on.....my Thanksgiving/Fall decorations are up, the furbabies are snoozing away in front of the stove...and I am just content.
Happy Birthday to everyone who has posted that has a November birthday. Laura - a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY today. Are there anymore November birthdays out there?
