I got my pathology report today from my screening colonoscopy and one of the polyps was determined to be a serrated sessile adenoma. It is 2 cm, completely flat and located in the right colon. Can anyone who has one of these tell me if it progressed to carcinoma or not on follow-up? I'd like to here your experience with this type of adenoma. Thanks!
