OT: we are grandparents!

Postby janklo » Mon Oct 13, 2014 12:23 pm

Our daughter Jenn and son-in-law Bob had a sweet little girl yesterday named Nora Jane. Everything is great with her! This is a hard time of year for us all because of Lauren's troubles two years ago in October but Nora is the perfect thing to make October a great time of year now!

(the Jane part is after my mom, who died from bc in 2000)

Congratulations! I could not be happier for you! I have mixed feelings about fall as well. It is in general my favorite season; but I got my official diagnosis in fall; the day before my sons 5th birthday. Focus on this precious new baby, while still holding love in your heart for your daughter.

That is so awesome! You're going to love being a grandparent! I know the new baby can in no way replace your dear Lauren, but the new baby will let you fall in love again, and that's what life is all about. Please keep us posted as to the baby's progress.
