Lesbian, Gay or Bisexual and Diagnosed with Colorectal Cance

Postby Colon Girl » Thu Oct 09, 2014 11:52 am

A Research Associate at the Boston University School of Public Health is working on a research study on quality of life after colorectal cancer diagnosis funded by the National Cancer Institute.

Lesbian, Gay or Bisexual and Diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer?

A Colorectal Cancer diagnosis can have far reaching effects both socially and emotionally. Little is known how a diagnosis of colorectal cancer affects the lives of Lesbian Gay or Bisexual men and women, men who have sex with men or women who partner with women. Boston University School of Public Health is conducting a research study to learn about LGB’s unique needs. You will be asked to take part in a one-time phone interview that will last approximately 45 minutes. Questions about your health, medical history, and experiences with the health care system will be asked to better understand what has been helpful for you and what you were missing.

If you are interested in participating, please call at: 1-617-414-1374 or email at cancer@bu.edu.
