Thinking about you both today.
Hope the blood transfusions helped Tracie feel a bit better and that you are able to have some quality time to just enjoy being together.

Hugs to you both and lots of prayers.

Basically the best I can figure from meeting with some of the best doctors after we were told MSK could not help us any longer is that my wife's liver if too damaged from the direct chemo therapy for any further treatment.
Her bilirubin has peaked at 18 and is now dropping.
Unfortunately our local oncologist gave her chemo for four weeks and then told us she had a week or two to live.
We went into the local hospital this past week for tests and the hospice team told us finally that she is not sick enough for inpatient care so we will meet with another team in the morning to discuss in home care.
Odd things about hospice is that any meds or lab work that could give you any read or hope are taken away. I have a real problem with that.
The liver expert at baylor that we met with a couple of weeks ago told me last night that this was a knee jerk reaction and she has months left in her if he had to guess.
Can't say that I have a lot of confidence in any care we have had through this cross country journey.
Her liver is in early failure mode and I am adjusting to this the best I can.
Not sure what else to say.
