I had a scan on the 6th that showed my lung mets to be stable (again). I'm happy with that result. Maybe I can get on top of this at some point and get some shrinkage.

The scan showed my lung mets to be stable. So, we're going to keep on keeping on until something changes. I'm hoping we can induce some shrinkage, though not sure if that's a realistic expectation. But I'm more than happy to be in a stable state, at least for the time being.

The visit went well. Got examined by the doctor herself, which doesn't happen too often. But, it's more face time and some "hands on" interaction with the doc, which I always appreciate and enjoy. For some reason, it's comforting to see a big shot doctor doing the fundamentals, like checking your lungs with a stethoscope and feeling your liver.

I hear you Kenny. I used to get anxious and demand the results the next day for many years. lately I am in no hurry for bad news like you although I was lucky on the last scan. It all sucks so much. Its bad enough getting bad news but then I have to tell my wife which is worse.
