I go in on the 8th. This scan is after only two months, he's keeping a keen eye on one particular (of MANY) in my liver

I'm scanning in a few weeks!,,
12/7/12: 30 yrs. old, Dx stage 4b.mets to liver, ovary, nodes, ommentum.
7 months chemo, shrinkage!
8/26/13 HIPEC, colon resection,hysterectomy, appndx, gallbladder out.
9/12/13:leak in colon, temp. loop ileost, home 9/18
11/3/13: liver resect.
1/2014 Ostomy reversal, one week later, abcess surg., fistula, tpn.
No more chemo, NED since 11/13
7 months chemo, shrinkage!

Having CAT of abd/pelvis/chest on Tuesday October 14th. First scan after 5 rounds of Folfirinox, which I have tolerated remarkably and unexpectedly well. Since my CA19-9 and CEA were within normal limits prior to treatment, and I had no symptoms, the CAT will tell us if the cancer is responding to treatment or being sneaky and going where its not wanted. I just hope the pancreatic cancer and liver met have responded to the chemo and shrank or disappeared. ( I know its too early to hope for clear - but what the heck - a positive attitude - why not) The scan is at 11:30 and I see the oncologist at 2 pm, supposedly he will have the results to discuss with me that quickly.

My scans have been rescheduled since my onc decided to take ANOTHER vacation (I think he's got his daytimer set to remind him to take off when it's time for my tests).
Oct. 23rd is my CT/ MRI and Oct. 27th at 11:30 is my onc visit / CEA.

CAT scan showed about 20% shrinkage of the liver met and pancreas tumor. No new mets. The FOLFIRINOX appears to be doing it's job, though of course I would have preferred a greater percentage shrinkage, I am pleased with the results. I will continue on same regimen for the forseeable future.
