Just got a call from my oncologist. He is checking into a local clinical trial (immunotherapy), that I might qualify for. He's going to talk to the doctor and see about getting a meeting set up. I've been just too beat down and overwhelmed to look into trials myself and I am so happy my oncologist is looking out for me. I'm afraid I might jinx it just by mentioning it, but you know how exciting this prospect is, I had to tell someone.

THat's good news. It's nice to have an oncologist that looks out for you. I hope you get accepted.

Recurrence 2/7/2014, liver, chestwall mets, 16 rounds chemo
7/3/14, y90 radioembolization, steady shrinkage
12/8/14, cryoablation to liver and chest wall
6/1 to 6/26 SBRT radio surgery
7/2 more cryo ablation to right lung
7/16 lung infection drain tube installed
9/4 chest wall resection to remove 2 ribs

Rooting for you to qualify for the clinical trial. There have been good results with immunotherapy in other cancers.

06/2012 DH rare intestinal type Ampullary/duodenal cancer. They extrapolate from colon cancer. FOLFOX 6 been working since Aug 2013. Feb 2014 once a month folfox as maintenance.
May 2014 Folfiri - fail
