Last month WHO announced that processed meats, such as bacon, can cause colon cancer.....

...however, there is a darker and far more serious threat that bacon poses to the health and
wellbeing of mortal kind.....
............... Especially the married mortal kind.

CLAIM THE FLITCH IN 2016

•Are you a happily married couple?
•Will you have been married for at least a year and a day on 9th July 2016?
•Would you like to try your luck against the Bacon?

The Dunmow Flitch Trials exist to award a flitch of bacon to married couples from anywhere in the world, if they can satisfy the Judge and Jury of 6 maidens and 6 bachelors that in 'twelvemonth and a day', they have 'not wisht themselves unmarried again'

http://www.dunmowflitchtrials.co.uk/

And for those who fail the Flitch Trial, you can always fling yourself into the Devil's Arse near Castleton in Derbyshire.

When I first had my colostomy it made a loud fart when I was standing in the midst of a bunch of young kids. They all looked at me and I said, "That means another angel earned his wings."

That's what I say now whenever it happens.
Diagnosed with stage III rectal tumor (though probably late stage II) January 2006.
Chemo/Radiation
Full APR Surgery
Folfox Chemo
So far NED.
Ooops. Liver tumor diagnosed 10/13 after elevated CEA. Liver resection for 5cm tumor 12/6/13.

Gawd, help us to change.
To change ourselves and to change the world.
To know the need for it.
To deal with the pain of it.
To feel the joy of it.
To undertake the journey without understanding the destination.
The art of gentle revolution.
Awen.

"Diamond Dick and his female band packed up their things and left yesterday for a new sucker field. According
to reports Dick left town a thousand dollars richer than he came. The public dearly loves to be humbugged by
some long haired quack, who happens to be a good shot, and is accompanied by a she band.”
