My husband was on Ritalin for slightly over 17 years - began treatment for narcolepsy in 1983 and switched drugs in 2001 to Nuvigil and now Provigil. He has had clean scopes and nothing has ever been said that would indicate Ritalin has any connection to CRC. I am truly sorry for your loss but I highly doubt that Ritalin had anything to do with it. The reality is that no one really knows what causes this disease and most people are diagnosed without any family history or have any other connection to CRC. Some people's colons are just more receptive to polyps and cancer.
