The Who stands up to cancer

Postby skypup » Sat Sep 06, 2014 8:30 am

Did y'all see them last night on SU2C? I must have one of those "the Who stands up 2 cancer" t-shirts!

I was really troubled by two things in the broadcast: they made it sound like cures are happening all the time, and there was almost nothing on colon cancer (yet again) when it is the number two killer. Oh, and I was uncomfortable that it seems big pharma is sneaking its tentacles into the SU2C effort. But it is still a great, great effort to get some good research funded!

The reason they don't mention colon cancer is that…wait for it….

Momma's got a squeezebox she wears on her chest.

But the music's alright.

We're not gonna take it
We're not gonna take it
We're not gonna take it
We're not gonna take it
We're not gonna take it
Never did and never will
We're not gonna take it
Gonna break it
Gonna shake it
Let's forget it better still
