I so sorry about your Father's passing. The fact that he had a gentle and painless transition is indeed a gift.

Hopefuly, your own pain will slowly be superseded with wonderful memories of a lifetime with your father,

51 M, Stage IVb CRC; Colon bypass surgery 7/12. Mets to liver, lungs and lymph nodes; 12 sessions of Folfox 4/13 & 12 with Folfiri & Avastin 2/14. Biliary blockage delays chemo treatments; ERCP with 3 stents, and 2 biliary catheters (7/14).

Eve, I am sorry for your loss. Please accept my condolences. I pray for all your good memories of your dad to sustain you through your greiving.
I don't think you're dad lost his fight with cancer either. He beat the heck out of it!

What a blessing for him and you that he was relatively pain free and able to die in the manner he wanted! This disease takes so much from us and I'm glad it didn't take away his personality. I pray for you to have comfort, peace and mercy as you deal with all the things that are dumped on us when lose a loved one.

My deepest sympathy on the loss of your father who was great in every sense of the word.
To the world he may have been one person, to one person he was the world.

liver mets; MSKCC; Liver resect & HAI pump 3/12.
12/12 chemo break; 4/13 spot on lung; ablation.
Erbitux. 11/13 liver ablation. Still on chemo
