Treatment went smoothly, but life after cancer brought unexpected hurdles. She’s adjusted to life with an ostomy and made plans
to adopt (since alternative fertility options failed.)
She continued to have an optimistic outlook and she and her husband, Justin, were recently blessed with their beautiful baby girl, Makayla! (Congrats Justin & Kasey Sandvig Mattison!)
